The mystery of life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.

Absurdity as a key to existence

I heard this phrase once, and was at once sold. It resonated immensely. I remember being frozen in my tracks while my brain sorted out the resonance. Absurdity as a key to existence. I also heard someone say "The mystery of life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced" ... So the absurd mystery is what I experience. That's how the "Project Self - Stuck in a Tuesday" came to life. I have always made photos as a way of experiencing "absurd mystery", there is no need to create elaborate situations to capture these experiences. It's all around, all the time. It's the ordinary Tuesday, that's the simplest way to experience the mystery. We're all stuck in a Tuesday, and it's marvelous.
